Loads of Japanese, 1 x KTM, 1 x Husqvarna, neither we're as good as a Japanese bike

In 38 years when I'v never been without a bike for more than a few weeks I've owned 23 bikes
17 Japanese
6 European (2 British, 3 Italian, 1 Czech)
Currently have 1 Jap and 1 Italian in the garage
Almost all European.
1 x Puch moped
Several BMW’s
Currently a Ducati.
1 x Honda moped.
So euro to japanese I reckon is 6:1

3x ktm
1x triumph
1x bmw
3x aprilia
3x suzuki
4x honda
1x yamaha
2x kawasaki
that's correct as far as I can remember so a ration of 8:10
Euros - 66
Japanese - 103
Honda tops the list with 40, Ducati second with 27
18 Japanese mostly Kawasaki (only 1 Honda, a C110 that never made it onto the road)
5 British - still have my Bantam from when I was 17 but it did 15 years at the back of a leaky shed so its in a state
Reliability wise, which of your selections were the best? For me, Jap bikes everytime.
The only bike I've ever had breakdown was a Suzuki.
RG250, it was probably 15 years old at the time and unloved by a previous owner, I bought it for £150... I seized it solid at 90mph in the fast lane of the M18.
Currently have a Guzzi, 2 KTM's, a Ducati, an Aprilia, a Cagiva, a Monet Goyon and a Royal Enfield.
Nope, not one Japanese bike owned now, but I have had dozens over the years. My current position isnt a conscious one, it's just how things have worked out.
