    In 38 years when I'v never been without a bike for more than a few weeks I've owned 23 bikes

    17 Japanese
    6 European (2 British, 3 Italian, 1 Czech)

    Currently have 1 Jap and 1 Italian in the garage

    Almost all European.
    1 x Puch moped
    Several BMWs
    Currently a Ducati.

    1 x Honda moped.

    So euro to japanese I reckon is 6:1

    Yep . i loved it ..but fragile!
    Sold it to older brother who broke it and wouldnt sell it back. My victor is actually not much faster.

    Honda tops the list with 40, Ducati second with 27

    18 Japanese mostly Kawasaki (only 1 Honda, a C110 that never made it onto the road)
    5 British - still have my Bantam from when I was 17 but it did 15 years at the back of a leaky shed so its in a state

    Reliability wise, which of your selections were the best? For me, Jap bikes everytime.

    None of my bikes have broken down.
    Ok so the Triumph had one piece of warranty work done (failed led) aside from that nowt. Oh, the alarm screwed up on it too but that's datatool not triumph.

    The only bike I've ever had breakdown was a Suzuki.

    RG250, it was probably 15 years old at the time and unloved by a previous owner, I bought it for 150... I seized it solid at 90mph in the fast lane of the M18.

    Currently have a Guzzi, 2 KTM's, a Ducati, an Aprilia, a Cagiva, a Monet Goyon and a Royal Enfield.

    Nope, not one Japanese bike owned now, but I have had dozens over the years. My current position isnt a conscious one, it's just how things have worked out.
