Just ride the bloody things. FFS

I raced 10 year and crashed 40 times wearing shit gear, and we all survived. Then 15 years as a track instructor.

I think you should buy a car and then bore all the car forums about seat belts and air bags.

    https://www.concussionzone.com/users...c-brain-injury

When reviewing the injury surveillance reports, the researcher divided the data into five age groups. In infants under 1 year, one-quarter of traumatic brain injuries were caused by falling from beds, while floors were the second leading cause at 14%.

In children aged 1–4 years, most injuries were caused by beds, stairs and floors, with each of them causing 10% of injuries.

    Ban floors?

    https://www.nhs.uk/news/heart-and-lu...n-the-morning/

Patients who had a heart attack between 6am and noon . . . researchers suggest that these patients had significantly larger heart attacks than those whose heart attacks occurred at other times of the day.

6 a.m.? Most people are still in bed then!

How much of a cheerful bastid do you want me to be?

I may have been wrong about the higher general levels of brain function:

My cardioligist cheerfully pointed out that statistically I am more liable to have a heart attack whilst asleep in the early hours of the morning than at any other time or carrying out any other activity.

Although it's not actually anything to do with 'concentration' at all - it's cognitive function. Very different. Before we all get too old and forget the difference.
