    right, can you help, how do i make this image solid black, i want to print it, but as its a picture of stitching its slightly different shades and i want it black, then i can change the colour as needed.

    Photoshop. Adjustments, replace colour, up the fuzziness and whack the hue to the left. TBH there's loads of ways to do it, but that is the quickest I know and use it for most things like that.
