I'm thinking of Mugello this year too, I shall be keeping a keen eye on this thread.

We were thinking of doing it but went with a return trip to Brno instead.
Incredibly cheap beer, cheap flights, cheap accommodation etc...

When I went, I stayed about 30-40 minutes away from the circuit, it's quite remote anyway, and rode to the track and back to the hotel. If you want somewhere close to the track, book as early as you can.

We camped at the track. Situation normal - don't expect to sleep. Race day it was near impossible to put down a chair it was so busy and so it should be, the place is so beautiful. It has to be one of the finest biking areas you will ever go to.

Looking into this, I think it will be too expensive to go for just two nights.

    Idea canned.

I wonder if they'll let me move my days off to another MotoGP?

And such a waste, you need to make a holiday of it, preferably on a bike and enjoy the area.

    We are doing Brno
Flights 81 - return bristol to Prague
4 nights in Brno 40 euro per night
Fri/ sat / sun grandstand seats 170 Euro (ish) (only use for part of the days as walking the circuit is aces)
Only thing left to sort is a night in prague and a return train ticket down to Brno. Neither will be expensive

Flying Wednesday evening - returning the following Monday.

Can't wait. It was brill last year, even in the rain...

There's two trains from Prague to Brno... Don't do (or do if you like) what we did, just jump on the first one.

In our case the soonest train was a locally stopping service that took 6 hours to do the 220km, rather than the 2 hour express.

We did get to see loads of the Czech countryside, including people stood at platforms in the middle of nowhere with chickens under their arms.
