Used search but couldn't find any reference to this new series on BBC? Not too much of the recapping American format and the host is sort of Guy Martin lite and I mean that in a nice way. Easy, enjoyable watching of bike fabricating and a car resto as well.

I thought he was channelling Guy Martin a bit, mainly with his enthusiasm and a little bit of the accent.

I get that the car bit was added in to keep the non-bikers happy, but there was bugger all detail about any work they did, or the costs involved.

You were just waiting for the guy with one leg to fall off, to add a bit of drama, so I was unsurprised when he did and it did.

Wasn't terrible, I'll watch it next week.

It is a start. They probably want to avoid the wheeler dealers side of things, and perhaps did not want to disclose costs as the fellow they built the bike for did not pay for that side of things. It was a nice thing to watch, easy going, but some more mechanical details would be nice.

I quite enjoyed it. It was an hour of my life I wasnít distressed about losing after watching it. It did feel like they didnít really know what to make of the format. ie bike build/ ex army guy getting back on his feet/ travel adventure show/ car resto etc. It perhaps ended up trying to cover too many bases to appeal to a wider audience. But hey ho, I found it an enjoyable hour of tv.

I hope he gets good money from the production company because he seems a bit shy in trying to make a profit to pay his staff.
The bike he did for parts only and the car would only break even if he got 15k top end auction price.
That said, I enjoyed the programme!

For all those that enjoyed it then Titch and the boys need a bit of help. It was commissioned as a one off and a full series depends on the iplayer view figures and feedback

So if you want to see more go and click the link to the iplayer link in the first post above and set it running

    Just watch it this evening.
    Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Titch came across well, even if he didn't appear to have much (or any) business acumen, he was certainly spreading the love. Who cant like a bunch of vets helping out an ex Para' who lost his leg?
My first car was a Hillman Super Minx (1960) saloon that I bought for £50 and I had an austin Cambridge Estate when I was in NZ that I used to take to the beach an sleep in at weekends so the car bit struck a chord with me too.

Hope they make a series - but give it sufficient time so he can actually do stuff properly.
