Hope this is all over before October, and they dont change the calendar of races, as booked flight for Sepang too.

    Oh bugger.

Just heard Sam's been banned from the race by both Dorna and his team due to his shoulder injuries, must be gutting for him but a team aren't going to do that unless there are serious concerns or potential consequences so is for the best I guess

From a purely personal perspective, makes Moto2 missable for me. I always look forward to the Moto3 (especially) and MotoGP, but Moto2 is generally a bit meh for me

Austin race now shifted from April to November. Probably a good move that. However it does make you think what else is going to be shifted/cancelled etc this year.

Most sporting events... World Cup downhills are being cancelled, football games behind closed doors/cancelled.

Basically anything that involves humans, if it's not cancelled yet, it soon will be.

Austin is stopping any event that will have 2500 or more attending.

Still going to go to Austin (too much money invested not to go, and I have no health issues).

Also booked flights and hotels for Sepang in October which still looks like it will stay the same date. Not too concerned by Valencia being put back a week in November as I will be living in that area soon, but bit pissed that it may not be the last race of the season if titles are still undecided by then.

Any 'insiders' I ask (IE people involved with organisation and logistics of marshalling and race direction) all say "It depends." Unless the shit *really* hits the fan, BSB should be OK. MotoGP and WSB looking a bit like their jackets might be on the shoogly peg.

But will the Assen round of BSB take place? Might pop over to that if my trip to the US is definitely off

I reckon you'd be better off not booking foreign races at the moment, given your record!

With the US banning anyone from mainland Europe flying there, I would imagine that Assen BSB will be postponed.

And no doubt my annual ride to Czechia in May will be cancelled too.

My next trip is in the van to my new home in South East Spain. Anyone taking bets on my ability to drive there in April?

It's all gone very quiet. I've got a sneaking suspicion what might put the final nail in the BSB coffin is the requirement for so many paramedics and doctors. We'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is no racing season this year or of there is very late on in the year. I cant imagine in 2/3 months time big sporting events will be happening, for a start there wont be any planes. Virgin are cutting back to 6 planes out of 45 currently and none of the other airlines are in any better shape
