I'm writing some of the best music i have ever written this week.

    Been self isolating since monday.

Without sounding immoral i love these sort of things as i am a loner at heart and love staying in and creating, so this is some time that is much appreciated.

I opened a book and in I strode
    Now nobody can find me.
Iíve left my chair, my house, my road,
My town and my world behind me.
Iím wearing the cloak, Iíve slipped on the ring,
    Iíve swallowed the magic potion.
Iíve fought with a dragon, dined with a king
And dived in a bottomless ocean.
I opened a book and made some friends.
I shared their tears and laughter
And followed their road with its bumps and bends
    To the happily ever after.
I finished my book and out I came.
The cloak can no longer hide me.
My chair and my house are just the same,
But I have a book inside me.

    I retire on 31st March.
Corona virus has stolen my thunder - and rather curtails my " Fuck you all" celebrations

Just build a VegTrug - and beginning to be unnaturally concerned about frosts

Hi murcan sorry to hear about your medical problems but this following link might be of use to you.

First Class! I’ll have a go at that.

I learned something today with a cooking experiment.

Tinned new potatoes are notorious for not being able to cook in a microwave. They usually pop and bang - often with disastrous results. Many say it can’t be done.

Had an idea! Mixed in some tinned peas in a tough porcelain bowl. Covered bowl with a plastic bag with a couple of holes for the steam. The bag being held at the base of the bowl. Cooked for two minutes. Let them settle for thirty seconds. Cooked for a further two minutes. Again, let them settle and one more minute of cooking. Perfect! Only a little pop but no explosions. Oh, and I added some mint sauce which was mixed in.

Settings based on an 850 watt oven.
