Yup, that's ours. Lets take Mr D behind the bike sheds at playtime and give him a good kicking

I've got three of them as washing baskets, they are IKEA

The one in the garden was a gift from my Mum, she bought it in a garden centre (I was there). Key difference is that it's not flatpack and is teak.

Note how the IKEA ones have exposed screws.

If I wanted another I'd go to IKEA

Excepting shape and vague design that's nothing like an Ikea cube. The Ikea panels are one piece, not a frame with an inset panel, the panel slats are flush with each other and not overlaid, and the lid has crossed slats as well, not just slots. The wood looks to be a thicker section too. Rounded corners on the uprights.

I spy with my little eye something beginning with I B.

IKEA are very good at knocking off / paying homage to european 20th century stuff aren't they? There's loads of IKEA stuff that's clearly a cheaper version of something else.

That's not a criticism, I've got loads of IKEA things. I've now also got a load of stuff which is the "genuine" version now

I like Ikea. Their products work and you get what you pay for. Also, I can follow simple instructions well enough not to have any bits left over after assembly, an to have checked everything is there before assembly is started. That said, I've never yet found a mistake in their packaging.

Well, those 4 pints of ale and the 4 litre keg I bought on Thurday have all gone over the weekend. Not good for my liver.

Gotta say, the Quiet American was surprisingly good.

Might have to get some more.

I've had no issues getting my normal shop so have not been eating anything out of the ordinary.

I have though started cooking a lot more. Doing myself a fry up tomorrow, done a few slow cooked stews, steaks, etc etc etc.

That's good for me i usually just go down the pub....ahhhhh the pub, i'll be back soon pub, loves ya...

You'd get on well with a friend of mine, he firmly believes that a family meal means 4 pot noodles and 4 Cans of beer

Some of us have been told not to go out at all. That sort of limits my options.

Do you not have family that can help?

I have been helping my parents ( in their mid 80's) by delivering shopping twice a week, also been helping my 55yo sister and BIL who both have covid-19 and are not well also.

It's me and my other sister against the world atm, as usual!

I think i've had it so indestructible but who knows for sure!

That's admirable. I always loved it when you said you were off to yer mum's for Sunday dinner
