Adam Bishop of Optiflow - he's a mobile mechanic who'll come to you, home or work, in and around London. Been servicing my bikes for over ten years. Good knowledge and fair prices.

    See my sig for link.

    Andrew Sexton

Based in the little village of Hook Norton, which has two exports: Hook Norton Bitter, and well-fettled BMWs.

    01608 730111, IIRC.

For bodywork I'd recoomend Dash of Colour, based near Spalding in Lincs. www.dashofcolour.co.uk is their web address, or try 01775 841078. The bloke (I think his name's Stef, or something like that!) is a diamond geezer and will talk the hind legs off a donkey, plus make a cracking cuppa.

For BMW engine stuff, try SED in Sleaford (01529 300434) Steve runs the company and his work is top notch. What he can't do with a BMW engine ain't worth doing!

Hello Mr, Wise Buddah. What do u mean by "the general area they service"? Is it geographical or a particular area of work? Sorry, I don't understand. ---BONNERS. You gave Mr Pigs in Manchester '4.5 of 5'. Should or 'does' he appear on the list of 'good mechanics'? (in a more orderly fashion). ---Regards Krissi.

Hello Mr, Wise Buddah. Is this web-site ok, or do others have problems posting? Are there any good computer mechanics around?

    01189 500300

knows what he's doing and has good prices. Ring first to make sure he orders in the tyres you want. Does a ride-in service as well where he takes your wheels off for you etc.

Jim Aim in Headingham, Essex. www.jimaimracing.com

Although a KTM specialist, they look after of our works bikes (including Honda's, Suzuki's, Kawasaki's) and Darren the mechanic there is shit hot on all marques and electrical stuff, as well as KTM's. Been using them myself since 1976.

And for tyres with a ridein/ride out service, I can recommend Universal Tyres in Billericay, Essex. Both fitters very knowledgeable on all makes of bikes, and take real care when fitting tyres to wheels (unlike some others I could mention, but won't).
