No, sorry.... but I do know Berkshire Metal Finishers [and they're quite good].

I got some plating done at a restoration specialist in Derby, very good but not cheap.

Marque Restore are very expensive. I had a Velo kickstart done by Reeve Metal Finishing in Smethwick - 30 and a good job as far as I can see. However, when I took some rusty bits off something else to them the quote was rather high. It probably depends who you speak to.

I've used Marque for chroming work and was very impressed with the quality of the work. They're not cheap but they are VERY good and everything's guaranteed too.

Yes. They are only 1/2 mile from me. Very friendly - I popped in a while back just for a nose and they were happy to show me around. A friend has had some bits done on his Chunderbird and the quality is excellent. Not cheap and you are likely to be waiting a while as they are a bit disorganised. You will also be in a queue behind lots of classic car bits as they have a good rep in that world.

Hi Jenny - They used to be good years ago but I used them recently and they co*ked up big time with some parts for me - it cost a lot more than the quote and chroming was patchy in places. I should have used Derby Plating - it seems they do a proper job (and seem to actually care about the one-off customers) - Keith or James are very helpful.
