Almost fell down as Esure quoted my renewal for the Golf at £1,015 per year for the new address.

They also wanted £250 one off payment for change of address, i told them to fuck off and will go on comparethemarket when i have a pc to use at home tomorrow.

Just off to host a quiz night for 100+ baying, drunken bankers,

It might get violent by round 3.

There is no way a banker is going to buy three rounds, unless you're claiming it on expenses.

I 'borrowed' a friend's apartment for the day so I could make a start sewing my dress for the party. There isn't room in my place to spread out fabric, and she has a large table so I took the machines and fabric and had a sewing session today I also shortened some curtains for her and for me

Downside is that yet another of my hobbies hurts like a bastard. So add sewing to riding a motorbike, crochet, knitting and cross-stitch. Baking is sodding difficult as well as a bit painful (although my Mum is getting me a mixer for my birthday, so that will help)

Somewhat miffed that everything I like to do hurts At least I can ski ok - just have to make sure I don't fall over!! LOL

It's usually 50 quid for admin fees, the rest is probs a loading based on his new postcode.

I think it's around $10 USD here. Admittedly, I've been at the same address since 1993.

And you can sometimes haggle successfully too, depending on your broker.

Sometimes its worth going direct. I have had high prices through a broker with, Say AVIVA. went direct and got it a lot cheaper but now i just keep going to compare the market and getting the new customer discounts.

Well this is working out better than I'd hoped - no nausea or any other ill effects. Good nights sleep and ready to plough in to my crunchy nut corn flakes

Got a bloke coming to measure up for a stairlift today. I don't need it now but someone seems to have installed extra gravity on the second flight so I suppose it's coming. Maybe trundle out for a walk later

Spent 12 hours in a bus from Kathmandu to Phaplu - getting our monies worth! Road was terrible and driver excited but he got us here. We start walking tomorrow to Ringmu, 13 kms or so for an easy start.
