A four inch brush and can of paint will do the job in a jiffy.

A 12 month prepaid prescription certificate.
Pleasing that by my maths it'll save over £100, not so pleasing that I need it.

    A pair of Burgundy Brogues...

They're not Church's, but I'm sure Iccy would still be proud.

Had one for years, welcome to the sickly club.

Also you may get bored of being asked for the card, that they no longer supply, to prove you have a valid prepayment entitlement.

There is one lass at our dispensary who asks for it.

“Can I see your prepayment card please”

“I don’t have one, they stopped issuing them over a year ago”

“I know, but I have to ask to see it”

Nota purchase as such, but my bus pass arrived, on the same day DVLA informed me that 2020 would be a good time to think about applying for my driving license back!

Yes it will! Do you know that prescriptions are free when one reaches 60? No need for the prescription card at £10 per month or whatever it costs nowadays. . So if you do need one at least it will be free.

My water softener. Had it about 6 months now.

    Dead good, it is.

No, I thought he was boasting about his fantastic health. Despite his antiquity!

Not a mere youth like me for example!
