I'm in no mad rush as I don't have the space to get it done presently, I could do it @ the FiL's but the bastard would probably take it over or break it, knowing him, both.

Just a case of keeping an eye out for farm sales and seeing what crops up

That seems excessive - the missus manages with 8 and I keep telling her that is OTT. Is the diamond steel worth the money? At the moment I am using an ordinary steel, with an occasional go on an oil-stone in the garage.

That is quite possibly the spackiest looking, 13 year old rejects soon to be shooting people in a school, fantasy piece I've ever set eyes on.

That "knife" should be is a Boris Vallejo painting the guy wearing it is short about 150lbs of muscle and a partially dressed bimbo, plus a heap of slain enemies.

Altho, if he actually tried to use it as a weapon I suspect he would just break his forearm, either that or the second attacker would chop him to pieces while he was trying to pull it out of the first guy.

I've got a few Globals, was gonna buy some more until I saw the pricetags in John Lewis.

Can't remember paying 160 for each bloody knife, but must have at some point

Worst thing is my favourite is the cheapo Anolon. Nowhere near as sharp, but I feel like I have to steel the Globals every time I use them.

That fucking chromed wanking gauntlet above is wretched, how the hell did that happen? He certainly doesn't look twelve...

No, TBH. In the same way that knives that are a quarter of the price as probably as good as Globals, but at the time I had some spare cash, so I thought "Why not?" I've had them for years, and probably spent about 800 quid on them in total, which is ridiculous now that I think about it. Brat bought a little ceramic knife for about a fiver, it's as sharp as a Stanley knife and doesn't seem to go blunt....

After seeing Eddie's bargain Hultafors knife I got one as I'd mislaid my other knives or more likely my missus has them in the greenhouse.
Damn Axminster for building a branch 2 mins up the road from me.

I went for the more expensive stainless steel version at a massive 6.40.

I think I'll get a few more of the cheaper ones to leave in handy places, can't go wrong at that price

and my old swiss knife found on top of a pallet in a warehouse back in 1997.There's a nice Sandvik knife lurking somewhere around the house too.
