It's fantastic, but would only have been for occasional use or just for display. The other bidder seemed to have more of a thing for it, or maybe more money to waste

It's even got a guard to stop the use being brained by the huge rotating balls. H&S gone made I tell you.

Going back to the grinder, whetstone idea, I like the look of this

    Record Power Rpbg8 500w 240v 200mm Bench Grinder, RPWRPBG8 at D&M Tools

for sharpening all me drill bits and general fettling. Now I'm thinking could I use a hone on there for if I ever need to remove much material to get rid of a dent in a blade.

There this with the honing assembly thingies

Record Power Wg250 10 Wetstone Grinder / Sharpener + Diamond Truing Jig & Free Delivery!", RPWWG250 at D&M Tools

which is similar to the one I linked to above/previous page or something. Now, I'll do my sharpening on oil stones as I currently do, which doesn't take long at all, so I can't justify buying a machine especially for that, but a machine is useful for removing material to get past the dent in a blade (if you hit a nail with one), maybe I can on a regular grinder, keeping the angle and the edge where it needs to be?

He wants shooting for this idea of a camera mount. Not the smartest of things to have made.

I could really do with a router table here but Trend don't sell here (well I haven't found any outlets) and I've spent too much time trying to find a router table anywhere in Turkey.

Quite like this idea as it also functions as a router box and I think it attaches onto their other boxes so you can get it to a decent height.
No reason why someone couldn't do the same with a circular saw although I'd want a no volt release switch on it.
