I have an 18" wheel and the line splitter is quite high up. Finding another bike that the lines may do is a right pain as most now have 17" wheels to I am thinking the lines would be to short. I got a set from a 02 TDM as they have the 18" front wheel. If they fit well then I can order a set of braided and now have the correct size. My old Braided lines will sell on eBay so this 99p spent I will get back later. Now I am looking for another front master cylinder as mine is angled for clip-ons. Looking for a flat one as I changed my bars for Renthal (copies)

17th front sprocket now fitted. Lengthen the ratios a touch.

    Just spotted this

Putting the XR400 back together, at last.

Bottom end is done, barrel and piston on, got to the top end next, then put it back in the frame, shouldn't take long, hoping to have it done this weekend.

    Cool, Road registered?

I also seem to remember you mentioning an old Tonti framed beast in bits...?

Yup, want to do some trail riding and have another crack at the Lands End Trial.

Bit of an engine refresh to do on the Monster next.

Am slowly getting the bits together for the Guzzi, hopefully next autumn for that one.

Nitron shocks are superb kit, totally transformed the handling of my ZX636

For my own bike i finally found a local bloke that fits new tyres to loose bike wheels and will do for the long term, all for the princely sum of 13.50 a wheel, balanced with valves

I blagged an hour off work, took off the front wheel and went straight down and had the spare tourance front tyre thats been sat in my shed put on and did a snoopy happy dance as its been needing replacing for a few weeks with the shitter weather approaching

For the R1, a spare set of wheels, a maxton shock and fork kit, braided hoses, pads and fluid, a tail tidy, paddock stand bobbins, an exhaust hanger, renthal sprockets and some slicks

I'm sad to say, bought fuck all for the Striple (well not since the new exhaust, remap and luggage for buggering off to Germany)....another bike has caught my eye!

God only knows how I can afford the cost to change though!
