A long time ago in a different life I was involved in the recumbent bicycle scene, purly racing because they're faster than normal bikes. People tried all sorts of ideas and while I've never ridden two wheeled steering I have tried rear wheel steering (front wheel drive). It's a fucking nightmare. Lots of people tried the bike but nobody could ride it more than a few feet, including the bloke who built it.
